Technology
RavenSkin insulates like a wall (large panels are R11 or greater), limiting the conduction and convection of heat. However, by converting incoming sunlight to infrared, and then directing the flow of energy inward only when desirable, it accomplishes something that standard insulated walls can't: it lets heat into the building when you need it, and keeps it out when you don’t.

Nothing will save you more energy or cost you less money over its lifetime; RavenWindow is quite simply the most energy-efficient window in the world. RavenWindow has a center-glass U value of 1.7 W/m2K (0.22 BTU/h-ft2-F), with a Solar Heat Gain Constant of less than 0.03 in its most reflective state.  And yet, in cold weather the same thermoreflective glazing becomes highly transparent, raising the SHGC to 0.35 or higher (in excess of 0.5 in some cases) to let the sun shine in.

This same thermoreflective technology can be applied to virtually any exterior component in many types of structures, from skyscrapers and warehouses to tents and inflatable domes, as well as residential housing. RavenBrick technology augments windows and curtain wall spandrels, and is an energy-saving replacement for brick, cinderblock, glass block, roofing tile, multilayered insulated walls, prefabricated building sections, tent roofs, skylights, vehicle sunroofs, insulation blankets, and poured concrete wall sections.
